Cake Creative is committed to high quality storytelling for readers of all ages. If you’re a writer and you think you might be a good fit for Cake Creative, you can submit your materials to us via Submittable. In your submission, please include your resume, contact information and bio, a list of interests, hobbies and fun facts, along with a 30 page writing sample representative of your style. 

We do not accept pitches; this Submittable is for writing samples. We ask that writers with representation have their agents submit materials on their behalf through the submittable. If your agent has questions, please have them email Joanna Volpe at New Leaf Literary & Media.

What Happens Once You Submit?

  1. You will receive an automated message confirming the receipt of your materials. Your submission package will be reviewed by the Cake Creative team.
  2. If we feel that your voice is a good match for one of our upcoming projects, we’ll contact you for a brief interview. 
  3. After your interview, if we think you’re the right fit for our project, we will begin a grand publishing adventure together.
